The Site

The site was a former NHS building in Dunstable, long run-down and in need of significant attention. The challenge was to reuse the existing shell while completely refitting the interior with a new layout and modern systems. The opportunity to create a health and supported living space for people in need made the project especially meaningful.

The Vision

Our vision is to provide residents with supported living units that offer independence while meeting their needs. The team has focused on careful planning and solving construction challenges, designing spaces that feel clean, fresh, and functional. Each unit is tailored to support residents’ lifestyles, with thoughtful communal and staff facilities included in the design.

The Product

This development delivers 18 self-contained one-bedroom units alongside generous communal areas, staff offices, a dedicated security office, and staff sleeping and shower facilities. Designed to provide a safe, supportive and well-managed environment, the scheme enhances access to high-quality independent living within the community.
